Production Line Packer Job Description 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday, 3 day weekends! 1st shift:
6am-4pm Health benefits offered after 30 days, first of following month.

Production Line Packer Salary:

00 per hour Knowledge & proficiency in all Company documentation & paperwork as pertains to the Line Packer position, i.

, timecards, white cards, etc.
Understanding & compliance with Stick Manufacturing Specification Sheets (length & diameter ranges, carton requirements, counts & weights, labeling, special instructions) Understanding & set up of Counting Scales including associated paperwork & logs.
Ability to pack/inspect two (2) Packing Lines in accordance with Company procedures (no sticks down the sides or oriented incorrectly in the carton, carton full to ensure no shift of contents when sealed, carton & flaps square when placed on the sealer line).
Knowledge & proficiency in performance of Quality Control checks of stick characteristics while performing the packing/inspection function (length, diameter, stiffness, wax amount, etc.
) Knowledge of all potential defects & ability & proficiency in identifying & picking or setting out those defects while packing two (2) lines including the communication with the 2nd Fl machine operators when defects are identified.

, unsealed, twisted, rollovers, bad ends, short, hollow, pointed, spots, doubles, attached nubbins, whiskers, flags, paper dust, wire-marks, bent, burnt, nubbin jams, etc.
Understanding & implementing the setout procedure for defective sticks Understanding & proficiency in performing the box line function & palletizing.
Understanding the application of the lot # system, including Line stamp, inspector stamp, and lot numbering.
Knowledge & understanding of and compliance with all Company Safety requirements including:
Hazard Communications (HazCom) Electrical Safety Emergency Action/Fire Safety Forklift Safety Safe lifting techniques Health & Sanitation requirements Knowledge & understanding of & compliance with Company Food Safety & Quality System:
Including Good Manufacturing Practices & HACCP with special emphasis on attire, sanitation, security, documentation.
