The Warehouse Specialist will report to the Service Manager.
This position will be responsible training new employees, monitoring compliance with safety standards, and overseeing all operations and safety requirements of the warehouse.
WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE Train new employees on how to use systems.
Monitor compliance with safety standards.
Oversee all operations and safety requirements of the warehouse.
Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with branch management team.
Process customer parts request in a timely matter.
Maintain appropriate min/max levels on stocking items.
Assign and manage bins for stocking items.
Oversee weekly cycle counts and annual inventory.
Coordinate returns on shipment errors or damaged inventory.
Coordinate maintenance on the forklift and other warehouse equipment as required.
Manage pick, package, and ship items.
QUALIFICATIONS 2
years of warehouse experience.
High School Diploma or GED; undergraduate degree preferred.
Team oriented and customer focused.
Mechanical knowledge.
Self-motivated.
You are responsible for all day-to-day warehouse duties.
Position requires a candidate that can prioritize and manage daily workflow.
Attention to detail.
Coordinate with customer service to ensure order accuracy.
Ability to frequently lift 30 pounds.
Forklift experience / certification preferred.
Exhibit a high level of integrity.
Multi-tasking and a sense of urgency.
Physical Demands:
The following are some of the physical demands commonly associated with this position.
Spends 20% of the time sitting and 80% of the time either standing or walking.
Involves lifting, twisting and/or bending up to 50 lbs.
Uses cart, dolly, or other equipment to carry more than 25 lbs.
